Shree Dhanalaxmi Co-operative Housing Society is located off Senapati Bapat Road midst Pune's green Hanuman Hill / Vetal Hill and prime Education Institutes like Symbiosis / BMCC / Fergusson / Law College and International Convention Centre which are very close to the project. The Society has 2 buildings both 3 storey on a stilt. The plot size is 1922 sq.m.
The Front building has 5 Shops, 2 Store Rooms and 13 residential flats of 2 & 3 BHK. The building behind it has 6 Residential Flats of 1/2/3 BHK and a garage behind it.
The Society's buildings were constructed in 1983/1984 by Mr.Dilip Mehendale - partner of Hindustan Builders and the Architect Vishwas Kulkarni ( One of the top ranking architects). The Society was registered in year 1985 as " Shree Dhanalaxmi Cooperative Housing Society Ltd." and its Registration No. is "PNA(PNA)/HSG/(TC)/673/85-86 Dt.31.10.85".
Since then society has been functioning as per the rules applicable to the housing societie's. The society is being consistently awarded "A" Grade Deemed Conveyance of the land is registered in the name of society in May 2019. The Society's name has also been incorporated on the Property Card in October 2019.
As the building is now more than 35 years old and does not have lift. Most of the resident members are more than 70 years old. The Society has therefore decided to go in for Redevelopment and the resolution for the same was adopted in a Special General Body Meeting dated 07.08.2016. Architet Vishwas Kulkarni has been appointed as Project Consultant/Architect and Adv. Rajendra Deshmukh has been appointed as Legal Advisor for redevelopment of society.
